01Intro

Some careers follow a straight line. Mine took the scenic route — and I wouldn't change a thing.

Product Designer with a background that doesn't fit neatly into a box — and I've stopped trying to make it.

Ten years as an architect and entrepreneur taught me to think in systems, ask why before how, and defend decisions with logic rather than taste. When the shift to digital product design happened, that didn't get left behind. It came along.

Today based in La Roche-sur-Yon, France — working as a Product Designer on a B2B SaaS product used by some of Brazil's largest real estate companies, designing end-to-end, close to engineering and product, in a fully remote setup.

02How I work

Understand first. Then design.

Starting by understanding before starting to design. How long that takes depends on the complexity — simple problems move fast, messy ones deserve more time. But that part doesn't get skipped.

Not someone who designs in isolation. The best thinking happens in conversation: with PMs, engineers, users, stakeholders. That friction sharpens ideas. Once the problem is understood, the work is fast, structured, and hard to block.

Handoff matters as much as design. A well-documented, well-communicated spec is part of the work — not an afterthought. And staying close after shipping matters too. Seeing how things land is part of the job.

04Beyond the work

The rest of the picture.

Collecting places and memories the way some people collect objects. Walking with no destination — sometimes 15km on a completely random day. Cold beaches, trails, new cities, or new corners of familiar places. Discovery is the point, not the photo (even if some of them turned out pretty great).

A natural patience for methodical things: a rotating mix of book genres, perfecting a recipe, knitting, puzzles, peeling things slowly. There's something deeply satisfying about a process with clear steps and a meaningful outcome.

Growing up between the south of Brazil and Rio, never fully belonging to just one place — and eventually taking that same feeling across the ocean. Now based in France, learning a new rhythm of life, new references, new ways of seeing. Three languages, learned mostly by osmosis: listening, watching, absorbing sounds and words until they stuck.

A Formula 1 fan long before it became fashionable. And there's always a song playing — always.
